How is it that Jesus could have risen from the grave on any other day than Easter Sunday?

The Bible says in Matthew 28:1, "In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre." KJV

The "end" of the Sabbath is just before Saturday night, which also makes Saturday night the start of Sunday, the first day of the week. Of course, when the Marys came, Jesus was already gone. So it was on Saturday that he arose from the grave and not Sunday.
